At the celebration of the Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES) 46th Annual Dinner in September 2012, Fellows of the Academy of Engineering, Singapore (SAEng) received their Fellowship certificates in a ceremony witnessed by their peers at Resorts World Sentosa.

Presenting the certificates, Patron of the Academy and Guest-of-Honour, Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean (DPM Teo) said that the SAEng Fellows played an important role in guiding the direction of Singapore’s engineering policies.

The Academy would like to extend its appreciation for the strong support of DPM Teo and IES. IES signed a memorandum of understanding with SAEng on 9 September 2011 to collaborate mutually for the advancement of engineering and benefits of engineers in Singapore. The IES President serves as an Ex-officio Member in the SAEng Executive Committee.
